Cuba Photography Tour – A Photographic Adventure

Our Cuba photography tour will take place in October 2023 and will be led by Mark Seymour and Flavio Bosi.

Cuba is a unique destination full of captivating imagery, vibrant colours and a rich history – making it the perfect place for your next photographic adventure! Whether you are an experienced photographer or just starting out, Mark & Flavio will guide you in capturing Cuba’s magical essence giving you invaluable tips about photographing the culture and people of Cuba.

Our tour starts in the Old Town of Havana where we will explore the streets, the Malecon, boxing clubs plus many other off the beaten track locations to capture real Cuban life.

Travelling by air-conditioned minibus, we will visit Vinales with an excursion to Pinar Del Rio for visiting a tobacco factory and then onto a tobacco farm visiting a local tobacco farmer. 

Visiting Cienfuegos we will photograph old American cars in the town square and then travel onto  the jewel in the crown for street and people photography, before returning to Havana where we will do a final review of the photographs taken over the tour.

We use a common space each evening to review and critique everyone’s work and talk about photography, techniques and what the plan is for the following day. The course is fully inclusive with both Mark and Flavio being with you every step of the way from breakfast, shooting and guiding you throughout each day to sharing an evening meal with the group every evening.

Cuba is a dream location to learn the art of street photography and street portrait. We will also be learning travel photography skills, how to document the destinations you visit and bring home a portfolio that will make your viewers feel the place and want to go there.
