Paris: one of the most beautiful cities in the world is renowned for its romantic atmosphere and is the birthplace of the street photography genre thanks to the likes of Atget, Lartigue, Doisneau and, most famously, Henri Cartier-Bresson, the father of the “decisive moment” concept. A brief search of Paris images from these giants will inspire you to visit this suggestive city and rediscover the architecture, the streets and alleyways, the cafes and the bridges, and the people that make this capital so incredibly fascinating to photograph.

We will roam the streets and squares of the most interesting neighbourhoods like Montmartre, Le Marais, Belleville, the Latin Quarter, Canal Saint-Martin. We will visit the Saint Ouen Flea Market and Antique Market, Champ de Mars with the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero Gardens and the banks of the Seine.

We will photograph the cafe culture, the eclectic and multicultural atmosphere, the local streets and people, and come home with a wonderful, deep insight of this unique city.

You will see Paris with the curiosity of a child’s eye and discover what no tourist can see. You will make memories and images that will leave you yearning to come back and repeat this wonderful experience.

Mark and Flavio will guide and help you develop your eye and skills in this challenging and rewarding genre that is street and travel photography. We will be there for you from the morning till the evening and will review our images each night to see the improvements day by day and create a wonderful portfolio of images you can be proud of.

Accommodation includes the night of 21 May, as the tour will start on the morning of 22 May.
